What does it mean to align dates to a revision?

When you're looking at a heatmap, you can choose whether to view all the data from the latest revision of the page at once.

Even if it's a longer timeframe than what's shown in the date selector (for example, "Last 30 Days").

This is important because if you edited a post more recently than the visible timeframe, you may be mixing data from the previous version on top of a fresher heatmap.

When in doubt, it's a good idea to check this box so you can assess the results of an entire revision together. Even if that's a long timeframe because you don't edit the page very often.

If your recent change was something minor, like fixing a typo or other changes that wouldn't affect the conversion rate, you can ignore a revision.
