What do the heatmap colors mean?

Heatmap spots come in two colors:

  • Red – We've tracked a conversion to that exact affiliate link and position using Smart Labels
  • Blue – We've tracked clicks to that affiliate link

For instance, this first button is red because it has 5 commissions tracked to it.

If you see a red spot but with no revenue reported, this means that all commissions were lost.

Being able to see conversions on your heatmap depends on a few things:

  • Smart Labels must be enabled for the platform that link belongs to
  • Amazon affiliate links do not support Smart Labels and will always be blue, regardless of conversion

On Amazon sites, we recommend making your best approximation via the size of the heatmap bubble and checking your most sold products on that page.
