What is a SKU?

SKU literally stands for stock-keeping unit, and refers to a unique product being sold.

As an affiliate, this is important because understanding your top-converting products is a great way to earn more commissions.

SKU reporting typically includes at least two parts:

  • Product Name
  • Product ID (known as the SKU number)

When we say Affilimate offers SKU-level reporting, this means that whenever possible, we'll show you how much you earned in commissions for each item in a shopper's order basket.

Some integrations like Refersion and AvantLink only report on order-level commissions.

In these cases, we'll bundle together the SKU data into a single row in your transaction report.
