When will a new revision appear?

Affilimate checks your sitemap for new revisions in two scenarios:

  • Every night at midnight
  • Anytime you import new affiliate links on a page

Revisions are determined by the LastMod date provided in your sitemap. Be sure to clear your cache and CDN anytime you make a revision to important affiliate content.

If we discover a new revision, Affilimate will:

  • Check the page for new affiliate links
  • Take a new screenshot, and start building your next heatmap
  • Create a new revision, listed on the Revisions page

Once a new revision exists, you'll be able to see it in the list of Revisions (shown below) and next to the Date Picker on your Heatmap.

If you've made a revision to some content and don't see it appear within 24 hours, try these troubleshooting tips.
