About the role

Even though Affilimate operates in the affiliate marketing sector, we strive to stand out from the "make money online" hype that's so pervasive in the SERPs for our target keywords.

We focus on data, facts, and first-hand experience in our content.

Instead of recycling the top 10 search results in hopes of ranking, we create truly unique content with original insights based on our experience working with hundreds of publishers.

You'll help our writers apply these principles to create content for the Affilimate blog which is compelling, detailed, and genuinely insightful.

You need to:

• Speak and write English fluently
• Have an understanding of how affiliate marketing marketing works from the perspective of a publisher
• Have a strong knowledge of SEO while knowing how to balance that with reader experience
• Be detail-oriented and able to stick to the deadlines that you establish

You will:

• Edit 2-3 articles per month
• Go beyond typos and grammatical errors to improve clarity, structure, and the overall message of the article
• Help writers apply our official blog style guide while maintaining their unique voice
• Fact-check and ensure reputable source citation in our content
• Make SEO suggestions that refine the content and its structure around questions our audience is asking
• Provide specific, actionable feedback to writers and help them improve their craft
